Free: There is no cost to join the First Book Network. Educators, librarians, and staff at non-profits in SELA (where 70% or more of youth are from low-income families) can register at no charge. First Book Marketplace (Deeply Discounted) 50% to 90% Off Retail: Members can purchase brand-new books and educational resources through the online Marketplace. While these are not always free, they are sold at a fraction of their retail price to make them affordable for school and non-profit budgets.

Notes on Youth Friendliness:
First Book is considered an extremely safe and friendly organization for youth, although its primary interaction is with the educators and community leaders who serve them.
