Avalon Carver Community Center is dedicated to strengthening families and developing a strong sense of community through education, outreach, and empowerment. The center provides a full array of services that care for the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of individuals and families, with programming designed to promote economic self-sufficiency. Youth benefit from educational programs, community activities, and a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and development. The center is working towards a new campus expansion to extend its reach and resources for the community.

The California African American Museum celebrates African American art, history, and culture through exhibitions, education programs, and community events. Art + Practice is a free contemporary art museum and community center founded by artist Mark Bradford that combines art exhibitions with direct support services for foster youth. The organization runs an Education Program in collaboration with Nest Global, providing early childhood education, and Foster Youth Programs in partnership with First Place for Youth, offering resources and support for young people transitioning out of the foster care system. Youth can engage with contemporary art through free exhibitions, workshops, and public programs designed to foster curiosity and creative expression.
