Youth are encouraged to explore interests and build confidence in a supportive environment. Community events and group sessions are central to programming.

The Catalyst Foundation
Dedicated to decreasing the impact of childhood abuse and trauma. Offers recovery workshops, PTSD support groups, and connection to medical/mental health care. Also provides HIV/AIDS advocacy and reentry support.
CYC (California Youth Collective)
California Youth Connection (CYC) that empowers current and former foster and system impacted youth across California to advocate for systemic changes in the foster care system. Through leadership training, policy development, and community engagement, CYC helps young people use their lived experiences to influence policies and practices that impact their lives. The organization provides a safe and supportive space where youth can develop leadership skills, share their stories, and work collaboratively with policymakers, social workers, and other stakeholders to create a more just and effective foster care system. CYC’s mission is to ensure that foster youth are not only heard, but also have a direct role in shaping the decisions that affect them.
