The Family Resource Center connects youth and families to educational enrichment, mentoring, and youth development resources. While focused on family support, they actively link youth to after-school, leadership, and academic programs. Staff provide guidance, referrals, and advocacy. Services strengthen family engagement and youth success.

Sycamores Palmdale FRC
A “Family Resource Center” that provides behavioral health services alongside basic needs like a food bank and rental assistance. Includes tutoring, enrichment, and mental health linkage.
Transgendar Law Center
A service center dedicated to serving the legal and health needs of those who identify as transgender. Legal services are provided through direct work while health services are provided through intermediary work.
Antelope Valley College – TRIO/Upward Bound
TRIO prepares first‑gen high schoolers for college with tutoring, advising, campus visits, and financial aid help.
Antelope Valley Public Health Center
Confidential STI/HIV testing, treatment, and basic immunizations. Offers reproductive health education and check-ups.

Helping Hands Feeding Children
About Provider
Helping Hands Feeding Children has a food drive every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Anybody that needs assistance feeding themselves or their family is welcome. If it is between food drives and somebody requests our help, we will NOT turn them away empty handed. They will receive something to eat no matter what day it is. We try our best to always keep our pantry full with canned goods and non perishable items. We also have fresh produce and meats. We accept donations of food, clothing, household items, and anything that may be needed. We also hold other events that help the people in need in our community, such as back to school events where youth receive school supplies, Holiday events where we give food, toys and other holiday items to families in need, as well as many other events.
