Also teaching them the importance of the oudoors and finding many ways to protect the wildlife and nautre. Teaching them how to care for nature and cleaning up after themselves. With their great mission to protect forests, rivers and parks.
City of Bell – Youth Programs
Our Youth Programs are designed to spark fun, learning, and creativity for kids ages 10 months -12 years old! From building healthy habits in Fitness for Kids to exploring the kitchen in Junior Chef, bonding in Parent & Me, and making memories in our Summer Fun Camp, there’s something for every child to enjoy. Each program creates opportunities for growth, confidence, and plenty of smiles in a safe and supportive environment.
CHICXS ROCKERXS SELA
Chicxs Rockerxs South East Los Angeles (CRSELA) amplifies the voices of trans and gender expansive youth, girls, and artists from communities of color through music, mentorship and social justice to empower themselves and their communities. Programming includes a week long summer music camp, annual queer prom, saturday workshops, and a mentorship program.
The Wall Las Memorias
The Wall Las Memorias (TWLM) has become a leader in providing health prevention programs and wellness services to the greater Los Angeles community and beyond. All agency programs and services are tailored to enrich the spirit and the health of our clients through culturally responsive services that are unique to our client population.
As the only nonprofit organization of its kind, The Wall Las Memorias is deeply invested in the improvement of health in our community through easier access to quality care. TWLM has developed innovative grassroots campaigns to mobilize community members and to ensure that our communities are well-informed. It is our mission to ensure that the public health infrastructure is inclusive of our communities. All programs and services at The Wall Las Memorias are provided free of cost and are available to all members of the community.
