A 18 week earn-and learn performing arts program training youth in the professional skills they need to keep a job. Learn how to communicate effectively, manage stress, and handle your business all while having fun in a positive environment. We work together in small groups to develop your professional skills and use acting to further explore interpersonal techniques. Graduates receive a certificate of completion, a professional letter of recommendation and the option to continue with one-on-one
development (16-24). While in course get $25 weekly gift cards. Plus for 18+ youth Free Drivers License Program. After graduating the program there are further support for alumni such as financial literacy and financial resources.

CYC (California Youth Collective)

California Youth Connection (CYC) that empowers current and former foster and system impacted youth across California to advocate for systemic changes in the foster care system. Through leadership training, policy development, and community engagement, CYC helps young people use their lived experiences to influence policies and practices that impact their lives. The organization provides a safe and supportive space where youth can develop leadership skills, share their stories, and work collaboratively with policymakers, social workers, and other stakeholders to create a more just and effective foster care system. CYC’s mission is to ensure that foster youth are not only heard, but also have a direct role in shaping the decisions that affect them.

Antelope Valley Community Uplift Foundation

The Antelope Valley Community Uplift Foundation’s (AVCUF) mission is to empower youth within the community by addressing mental health, physical well-being, and educational excellence through mentorship, service and philanthropy.
