Has multiple programs for youth in our community. Including the Level Up Next Generation (L.U.N.G.) program. LUNG is a FREE 6 – 8 month course for ages 14 – 24. Paid Internship! Learn about life skills, peer mediation, conflict resolution, post-secondary education, and job readiness! These skills will make an exceptional resumé!

Key components of the program include: paid internship, resume building, setting boundaries, budgeting, college majors support, workplace adequate, comfortless solution, high school / ged enrollment

AV Youth Voices

Youth‑led civic engagement on school climate, health access, and transportation safety; trains youth in testimony and data walks.

Youth Lead AV

Youth Development, Drug Prevention & Advocacy, Professional Development, Résumé Building, Work Experience, Build Leadership Skills, Service Hours, Fun Trips (college tours, leadership conferences, etc), Community Outreach. Meetings held on Thursdays from 4:30pm – 6:00pm

The African Coalition

The African Coalition provides free resources and support from mental health or immigration services, housing assistance, crisis intervention, and more. Additionally the African Coalition has a paid stipend opportunity for youth 16 – 24 year olds to be an Antelope Valley Youth Ambassador.
