Community run urban garden space. OVer 200 plots of fresh produce cultivated. Gardeners grow vegetables, herbs, traditional crops to share with neighbors. This space is also a social and cultural hub connecting the community within watts through collaborative efforts.
Target Age Group:
All ages, typically adults but teens are welcomed to garden
Cost and Accessibility:
free to volunteer, however plot membership fees are ~$30-$40 (includes plot and water access)
Hours of Operation:
Daily: 7:30 AM-7:00PM
Notes on Youth Friendliness:
Youth friendly overall, familial gardening and food cultivation activites are encouraged.
