The Accelerated Schools is a network of three public charter schools (TAS TK-8, ACES TK-6, and WAHS 9-12) that operates on the principle that every child is treated as gifted. Founded in 1994, TAS became a national model for public education with high expectations and strong support systems. Youth benefit from a well-rounded education including arts programs, hands-on projects, field trips, after-school learning, instrumental music, outdoor classrooms, and partnerships with organizations like USC Annenberg and the Colburn School of Music.
